Privacy Policy – Mock Exam Hub

Privacy Policy

Mock Exam Hub (Android app) · Effective date: October 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WebApSolution ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the Mock Exam Hub Android app (package com.webapsolution.mockexamhub, the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. What the App does

Mock Exam Hub displays our website, mockexamhub.blogspot.com, inside the App so you can take mock tests on your phone or tablet. The App also shows advertisements and can send you a weekly reminder notification.

2. Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other personal details through the App. We do not operate our own servers for the App and do not store your personal data.

Some information is nevertheless processed by the services the App uses:

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to show banner and interstitial ads. AdMob, operated by Google, may collect and use data from your device to serve and measure ads, including:

  • Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID) and similar device identifiers
  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Device and software information (model, OS version, language, screen size, network type)
  • App interaction data, such as ad impressions, clicks, and ad performance/diagnostics

This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. To learn how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Your choices:

  • On Android you can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in Settings → Privacy (or Google) → Ads.
  • Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and some other regions are shown a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) when they first open the App, and can choose how their data is used for ads.

4. Website content shown in the App

The App loads our website, which is hosted on Google Blogger. As with any web browser, the website and Blogger/Google (and any embedded third-party content) may use cookies and local web storage, and receive your IP address and browser/device information, to deliver pages and for analytics or security. The App enables JavaScript, cookies, and DOM storage so the website works properly; this data is stored in the App's private WebView storage on your device and is removed if you clear the App's data or uninstall it.

The App itself does not read or store what you type or submit on the website. Anything you enter on the website is handled by that website and its hosting provider.

Links to other websites open in your browser or another app. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, so please read their policies.

5. Notifications

If you allow notifications (Android 13+ asks for permission), the App shows a local reminder every Monday at 6:00 PM (device time) to tell you a new mock test may be available. This reminder is scheduled on your device; no personal data is sent to us to make it work. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device's system settings.

6. Permissions the App uses

7. How information is used and shared

We do not sell your personal information. Data described above is processed by Google (AdMob and Blogger) to provide ads and the website. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

8. Data retention and security

We do not keep personal data from the App on our own systems. Data on your device (such as cookies and cached pages) stays there until you clear it. Data held by Google is retained according to Google's policies. The App loads content only over secure HTTPS connections, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children's privacy

The App is intended for exam candidates and a general audience, and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will help resolve it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold personal data about you, most requests need to be directed to Google (see Google Account – Data & privacy). You can also contact us with any request or question.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date updated above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
