Voice Recorder Pro ("the App") is developed by WebApSolution ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it's used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Summary
Voice Recorder Pro is a local, on-device voice recorder. Your recordings never leave your device unless you personally choose to share, export, or download them. We do not operate a server that receives your recordings, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. The App does use Google AdMob to show ads, which involves some data collection by Google as described below.
Information We Collect
Audio recordings. When you record with the App, the audio file is saved directly to your device's local storage. We do not have access to these recordings, do not upload them anywhere, and cannot see or hear them. Recordings are only removed when you delete them yourself, when an auto-delete setting you configured removes them, or when you uninstall the App.
Information we do NOT collect. We do not require or support account creation, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying information. We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting service beyond what is described under Advertising below.
Permissions the App requests:

Each permission is requested only at the moment it's actually needed, not in advance.
Advertising (Google AdMob). The App shows ads using Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, and app-open ads). To do this, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect information such as your advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and ad interaction data, in order to serve and measure ads. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
You can review or reset your advertising identifier, or opt out of personalized advertising, through your device's settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
How We Use Information
- Recordings are used solely to provide the App's core functionality: recording, playback, trimming, organizing, and (only if you choose) sharing or downloading your own audio.
- Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is used by Google to select and measure ads shown within the App, and to help fund the App's continued development.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your recordings or personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
The only third-party service integrated into the App is Google AdMob, used solely to display ads. If you use the App's Share feature, the recording is sent only to the destination app you personally choose (e.g., a messaging app or email client) — that transfer is initiated by you, not by us.
Data Storage and Security
Recordings are stored in your device's local storage, in a location private to the App on modern Android versions. Recordings are explicitly excluded from Android's automatic cloud backup, so they are never copied to Google's backup servers. If you use the App's Download feature, a copy of the recording is additionally saved to your device's public Downloads folder, where it becomes accessible like any other file on your device.
Because everything is stored locally, the security of your recordings also depends on your own device's security (screen lock, device encryption, physical access, etc.).
Your Choices and Rights
- You can delete any recording at any time from within the App.
- You can configure automatic deletion of old recordings in Settings.
- You can disable notifications for the recording service at any time in your device's app settings (this only affects the visible notification, not the recording itself).
- Uninstalling the App removes all recordings stored in its private app storage. Files you separately downloaded to your public Downloads folder are not removed by uninstalling and can be deleted manually.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at our published privacy policy URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
